2/2017 - Omaha, NE
Loved everything about your place! Great for walking distance to coffee, shops, the beach, and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a better spot! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home!

1/2017 - Fully stocked, relaxing and close to the everything!
This house had everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. We spent a week in Maui with our two young children (2 yo and 8 mo), friends and family. No agenda other than living the Maui life. The Kihei Garden Oasis had everything from all the kitchen gadgets you could imagine, to kids toys for all ages, beach and snorkel gear, and a hot tub. It was very clear that Jenni and Dave have spent a lot of time preparing the place for guests, as evidenced by their incredibly detailed guide book. Everything was clean and in good condition. Walking distance to beach, groceries, local restaurants and shops; however set in a quiet neighborhood giving you a real local feel. We truly could not have asked for a more perfect place. We hope to book this home again!

1/2017 - Griffin, Georgia - Delightful - A Beautiful Famil-Friendly House
A grand house with such nice appointments and furnishings is just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and a lovely park. We cannot say enough good things about the house and the beautiful patio with its tropical palms and garden plants, not to mention the great hot tub. The garage was loaded with beach amenities, including snorkel equipment, toys, chairs, etc.

Our family (5 adults and a toddler) were so fortunate to find this property. The appliances were well beyond our expectation. Obviously the owners furnished the home for their own use as well as for their renting guests. Very close to being a total “turn-key” living experience, down to the dryer sheets and loaded spice rack, cooking was a pleasure in this kitchen. This place had it all! The house was beautifully decorated but still kid friendly too. My family was delighted to find such a clean house, so well appointed, and conveniently located with such nice owners who kept us so well informed throughout…great communicators. We would definitely recommend to our friends.

1/2017 - Santa Clara, CA - This place has everything!

This was our second vacation in Maui and we loved it! We stayed here for a week because of my wedding and this place has everything! The kitchen is fully stocked, beach gear was there for you to use and it felt like being at home. Many stores close by to the house and you're in the middle of everything in Kihei. Love this place! highly recommend and would stay here again! Thank you for everything!

1/2017 - Santa Clarita, CA - 5 Star Review for a 5 Star Home in Maui
My family and I stayed here Jan 6 -10, 2017 for my sis' 50th birthday. The home is nothing short of fabulous!! It's spotless, spacious and well decorated with EVERYTHING you might need. Eight of us stayed in this large home which provided plenty of room to socialize with the option to escape into your own private bedroom when needed. The bathroom situation (2BA VS 8 guests) wasn't even an issue w plenty of hot/warm water for all. The spa was amazing - nestled in a tropical setting - like new, super easy to operate and a perfect 101 degrees every time. The bedrooms are truly as pictured and we all agreed the beds were cozy and AC's work wonderfully. The home has top-of-the line appliances and cookware. I was able to host a fancy breakfast for 10 using the homes beautiful tableware - complete w champagne glasses. Also, I had a Q for Jenni on 1st day and she solved it w/in a hour. The only thing separating our stay at Jenni and Dave's home in Maui from a Ritz are robes. One of the top two VRBO's my husband and I have ever stayed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

12/2016 - Ottawa, Ontario
Extremely clean and comfortable with every amenity you could hope for, particularly in the kitchen. Each bedroom was extremely comfortable, with their own AC and TV. Jenni was extremely responsive and helpful, responding in a matter of minutes during our one little incident with the garburator. Location was great too with many nice beaches minutes away, and shops and restaurants near them. Would recommend to anyone.

12/2016 - Berlin, Germany
The house is great - and the hosts put so much effort in it! There is everything here to have a great holiday - the location is great and the house itself is just beautiful. Jenni and Dave were really nice hosts and responded immediately whenever we had any questions. Highly recommended if you want to stay on Maui!

11/2016 - Colorado Springs, CO - COZY & PERFECT FAMILY HAWAIIAN VACATION HOME
This home was so beautiful! Everything we could have possibly needed was there - kids toys, beach supplies, stocked kitchen, and more! Jenni was amazing with answering questions and offering suggestions, and even went above and beyond and got bed rails for our toddler! It was truly an oasis, with a hot tub, lots of beautiful plants and fresh fruit, and the outdoor areas where awesome to spend time in and enjoy the warm weather! The location of the home was perfect! We could walk to a beach and many restaurants and shops, even a grocery store! It was also close to drive (about 20 minutes max) to tons of other beaches! We had an amazing time with family (there were 7 of us) and hope to go back next year! Thank you Jenni for such a great time and sharing your home to provide memories and fun for all of us!

10/2016 -  Seattle, WA - Excellent Maui Home Away from Home
Our group of six spent seven relaxing days in Maui at Jenni and Dave's idyllic Kihei Garden Oasis. We were looking for a place to accommodate myself, my wife, my parents, my sister and my brother-in-law for a vacation celebrating my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and this home fit the bill perfectly. I call it a home, because it really felt like our home-away-from-home in Maui. Four comfortable bedrooms, a living area with video games and movies, a well appointed kitchen, a fun outdoor area with couches, shade, hot tub and fruit trees, and all the beach toys you'd ever need. It is hard to think of anything that Jenni and Dave did not think of to prepare their guests for a worry-free, relaxing vacation. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at this house.

10/2016 - Cardiff by the Sea, CA - More than expected!!

From the initial booking Jenni was super organized and informative. Jenni and Dave seem eager for everyone to enjoy their property and they have filled it with all of your needs from videos to games to beach equipment. The home is very comfortable in all regards- nice bedding, awesome A/C and fans, jacuzzi, plentiful kitchen equipment and more. My family enjoyed all aspects. The location is central and convenient to activity, beaches and food. It is a residential neighborhood and is the nicest home in the neighborhood-a true oasis as described. The home made our stay more enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone. We traveled as a family to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect home base. I would stay there again as would the rest of my family! Big Mahalo!

9/2016 - Fernandina Beach, FL - An Oasis in Kihei!
My family and I spent a little over a week at this property while in Maui for a marathon and we can't say enough positive things about the house. Our travel group included my wife and I, our 3 and 7 year old children, and 2 sets of grandparents and the house accommodated all of us easily. We've stayed in a number of other VRBO properties, and it was obvious that the owners of this property took the time to think of the needs of their renters. There were board games for the family, toys and games for our children, movies, all of the kitchenwares we could ask for, and beautifully accommodated rooms throughout the property. The house also included more beach gear (chairs, towels, coolers, games, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc.) than we could have ever asked for during our stay. The owners were incredibly responsive leading up to our check in date and throughout our stay and checking into the property was efficient and streamlined! The location of the house is convenient to the Maui airport (about 20 minutes), conveniently located to Kihei (a pleasant aleternative to the resort areas of the island), and close to Ma'alaea Harbor (where we spent a lot of time at the Maui Ocean Center and where we departed on a few snorkeling excursions). We would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Maui and are already planning our next trip back to this perfect piece of paradise!

8/2016 - Brooklyn, NY - Beautiful home in perfect location!
My relatives from Australia stayed in this beautiful home while in Maui for my sister's wedding, and they loved it! It was clean, had great amenities, and the back yard was the perfect hangout spot. They were nervous about driving a lot, because they are used to driving on the other side of the road, but the house was walking distance to many great restaurants and beaches, which really reduced the amount of time they had to spend in a car! My cousin brought her newborn baby and toddler, and there were tons of children's toys and necessities in the home -- they barely had to pack a thing! Would definitely rent again, a total gem!

8/2016 - Oklahoma City, OK - Best Ever
My children and grandchildren (2 & 4) who live in Japan met us on Maui at Kihei Garden Oasis. Wonderful house in a great location. All the fun activities close by; all the comforts of home for rest times. We never went wrong following Jenni's recommendations for fun, food and shopping and we never had a need for any home or beach convenience that Jenni hadn't anticipated.  Thanks for sharing your lovely vacation home.

8/2016 - Los Angeles, CA
From the cozy living room, the comfortable beds to the amazing back patio, this place truly is an Oasis! Its so close to everything that Kihei has to offer- coffee shops, restaurants, markets and the beach all within walking distance. Anything you could ever need or want to take to the beach is provided! Towels, beach chairs, plenty of snorkeling gear, body boards, etc. My nieces never ran out of activities! Thank you for such a pleasant and memorable family vacation! Josh

7/2016 - Portland, OR - Beautifully equipped comfortable home.
We stayed in this lovely home with our family of 8 and couldn't be happier. It is the best equipped house we have ever stayed in, and there have been many. nothing is lacking if you're traveling with kids: from high chairs to boogie boards. Inside amenities include an x-box which our kids don't have at home, as well as netflix or Amazon capability.
The kitchen even comes with spices and tupperware and saran wrap!!! [Last home we rented the previous month had none of these.....so annoying not to be able to keep/preserve leftovers.] The beds are very comfortable, the wooden floors throughout are gorgeous and the bathrooms are stocked with every imagineable toiletry.  It is within a short drive to many perfect beaches for the kiddies....many of them complete with lifeguards and showers and bathrooms.  And the best part? The always reachable, responsive, nicest owners. They are quick with email and/or phone calls should you need some help or extra direction while staying there. This - in addition to the encyclopedia like manual they send beforehand as well as an additional copy in the house. It covers everything you would want to do on the island, with people and numbers to contact.  Please don't hesitate to rent this perfect home. You will NOT be disappointed.

7/2016 - Kirkland, WA
The neighborhood was similar to many Maui areas. It was normal. But, the house was truly an "oasis" in the midst of normal! We loved it! It was easy to find, and close to allot of great spots for swimming, snorkeling, shopping, etc., and so on. My whole family loved it. The house came with the use of good snorkeling gear, boogie boards, 2 high chairs, 2 pac n plays(for babies). Everything was awesome for our family of 7(3 couples, and a 10 mo). We will be back!!!

6/2016 - Vancouver, WA - The property was clean, beautiful and well stocked!
We had a great time staying at the Garden Kihei Oasis in Maui! The house was beautiful and close to the beach. We really enjoyed the patio, and eating together on the large dining table. The owner Jenni, was quick to respond anytime we reached out. If your going to Maui this is a great place to stay!

5/2016 - San Jose, CA - Everything and More!
Jenni and Dave have done a fantastic job with the home and really have thought of everything. From the stocked kitchen all the way to the garage with every beach accessory, we really were amazed at all the amenities provided. The home was clean and beautifully furnished. It being our first trip to Maui, we found the travel and activities guide Jenni and Dave put together helpful and a nice touch. We will absolutely be back to Kihei Garden Oasis on our next trip to Maui!

5/2016 - Los Angeles, CA - Great time at Kihei Garden Oasis
Nothing but good things to say for this house. Everything you need is here - down to the last details. The property was clean and well maintained both inside and out. The yard even has fruit trees, including limes for making mai tais. Communication with the host before and during the trip was fast and efficient. There were 6 of us staying, we all loved it, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We would definitely stay here again. Only wish we were there longer. Thank you Jenni!

4/2016 - Portland, OR - Great house, perfect for our family
The house exceeded our expectations. The amenities were plentiful and well thought-out. We had a toddler with us and the toys, books, high chair, play-yard and stroller saved us from having to lug everything on the plane. There are some wonderful restaurants (our favorite was Three's Bar and Grill) and a grocery within walking distance, as well as a huge park and smaller beach. Netflix and Amazon are available on the entertainment center, and there's a large selection of DVDs. It seemed like the house had been deep-cleaned before our stay as it felt like a new house.

Kihei itself wasn't exactly what we expected, as there's a bit of a mixture of nice and not-so-nice properties, but it still felt safe, family friendly, and walkable. Also it's a quick drive to Wailea or only about 30 minutes up to Lahaina and the North shore. Kihei made for a good home base with a lot more privacy than a condo or resort, so it worked out perfectly for us.

4/2016 - Coalville, UT - Home Away from Home
Our group of 8 adults had the best time staying at the Kihei Garden Oasis. It really felt like home. Beautifully furnished and well maintained. Our stay was a busy one, with a lot of day excursions, so the outside patio with hot tub was a highlight for our group. The garage was fully stocked with beach chairs, towels and anything else you would need for a day of fun. Jennie was so wonderful to work with. We hope to be back someday and will definitely be staying at the beautiful Garden Oasis. Be sure to visit Coconut's for their fish tacos.

4/2016 - Bothell, WA - Spacious and lovely
Absolutely fantastic vacation rental home. Everything that you need is in the home. A quick trip to the fish truck by Kihei Cafe and you've got a fantastic dinner of Ahi or Mahi Mahi. Some papaya from the garden and you can create a delicious salsa. There's beginner surfing lessons super close. Snorkeling off of Kam 3. Happy hour at Three's and at 5 Palms. The list is long. The first couple of days seem to last forever and then the last couple simply fly by. Will definitely go back.

3/2016 - Sutton, Massachusetts - Everything we hoped for and more!
Jennie and Dave were a pleasure to deal with from the beginning to the end. They did everything they could to make our stay in their well appointed home the great experience which it was. Our son's wedding was on the beach in Maui. All three of our children, their spouses and our 20 month old granddaughter stayed with my wife and I at the home. It was a wonderful choice. It had everything we needed for the beach, etc. not only for the adults, but also for our granddaughter. The intimate and quiet yard with the grill, table and comfortable couches and chairs in the outside sitting area was a frequent spot for us all to sit and enjoy each other. The home is very conveniently located for walks into restaurants, etc. in Kihei as well as more distant road trips around the island. Our stay was tremendously memorable and the home added significantly to that experience.

3/2016 - Boulder, Colorado - Truly An Oasis
My family and I just stayed at the Kihei Garden Oasis for spring break and just loved it. Located in a great neighborhood we were able to walk into town for breakfast and the beach. The house is wonderfully appointed and has everything to make a vacation home feel like a real home. Far enough away from the vacationing crowds but close enough to walk to many restaurants and the beach. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful and convenient vacation home.

3/2016 - Saskatoon, SK Canada - Fantastic
We loved the Kihei Garden Oasis. Great location. Wonderful home with lots of room for all of us. Everything has been thought of even down to the coolers for great picnics and extra hats for those that forgot theirs. Even a coffee grinder in the kitchen. Very quiet neighbourhood. Short walk to a great park with basketball and inline skating and Foodland for those items that you didn't pick up at Costco. Perfect base for exploring Maui!

2/2016 - Madison, WI - Amazing Place
We stayed for five days at the Garden Oasis in February of 2016. The house has everything you need, I literally mean 'everything', especially if you have kids they have toys, games, strollers, beach necessities and if you are into cooking, you will fine everything for your gourmet cooking. I loved the outdoor shower area, private and very practical when you come straight from a beach. They have TV in all rooms but I didn't turn on the room TV even once, we were so busy exploring the area and the nearby beaches. The owner has kept the ground really beautiful and well groomed. I would highly recommend this place for your vacation in Maui.

The owner sounds very sweet on the phone, very easy to talk to.

Thank you Jenni,
Geygong family

2/2016 - Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada - Comfortable and accessible rental home
Our adult family of 7 stayed for 9 nights. Lots of amenities! Tons of beach equipment, towels and coolers that we used for the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, spices and Tupperware. The backyard was also quiet in the mornings having coffee and relaxing. We were a couple blocks from the beaches we liked so a vehicle was necessary to get around especially with all our stuff. Overall we had a great time!

2/2016 -  Sandy, Utah - A delightful home, perfect for 4 couples
We spent a week in this cute house just a 5 minute walk from the beach and Kihei's main street. Not only is the house immaculately clean and well-kept, we were pleasantly surprised how it was stocked with literally everything we needed - from beach gear and towels to board games, dishes and even spices and basic cooking needs. The private patio was great for hanging out and talking in between our various adventures.

I have to say that Jenni, the owner, was also really helpful and friendly from the time we booked though checking that everything was okay throughout our stay.

Thanks so much for the great place to stay! Mahalo!

2/2016 - Kenai, AK - Immaculate Home Close to Beach and Restaurants
This was truly a home away from home. It was very clean and well maintained with a Hawaiian décor. Everything was provided. It had a kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Linens, towels, washcloths and beach towels were included. There was an outdoor shower to rinse sand off feet after a beach trip or use before getting into the hot tub. There was a washer and dryer in the garage and a supply of beach items including umbrellas, chairs and snorkeling equipment. Internet was included along with a supply of movies, books and games. For families with children there were also two Pack N plays and highchairs. The outdoor patio area was very relaxing and included a BBQ grill. The owners provided island guide books and a notebook full of information about the house and the local area. They were easily reached and available if anything came up. I would highly recommend this home.

1/2016 - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - Perfect Family Home Away From Home
We spent a week in this beautiful, perfectly-equipped and stocked home. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and we brought my parents along. We couldn't have been more comfortable. Everyone had their own space, the design and decor of which was very well thought out. We were very pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. We could have save some packing space and left shampoo, conditioner, cotton ball, etc. at home as Jenni and Dave gave a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home. The kitchen was amazing! We love to cook our own meals and the kitchen was a wonderful space in which to work. The BBQ outside was great too. The house is well equipped with DVDs and so the kids were especially delighted when it came to some down time enjoying a wide selection of age appropriate movies. Jenni and Dave were great to deal with. Friendly, informative and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, beautiful home in which to enjoy our vacation and better people to deal with. We highly recommend this home to anyone who needs a little extra space and we really hope to be able to come back and enjoy it ourselves again soon.

1/2016 - Inuvik, NT, Canada - They thought of all the small details in an already standout house
We stayed at Kehei Garden Oasis for 2 weeks in January and can't say enough how impressed we were with the entire experience. Jenni and Dave were easy to deal with leading up to our vacation, providing excellent information on the house and what to see and do around Maui. We particularly made use of their restaurant suggestions and we never disappointed. They also provided great support while we were at the house. The washing machine stopped working on our second day and they had it replaced within 48hrs!

The house itself is really fantastic. From the finishings, top quality kitchen supplies and appliances, ample beach gear and the outdoor space. Jenni and Dave's pride in ownership shows through, you really get the sense this is their home not just a vacation rental. We can't thank them enough for sharing their place with us, it was truly our best VRBO experience to date.

1/2016 - St. Paul, MN - Beautiful and Very Well Maintained
My wife and I, our two sons, their wives, and three grandchildren all stayed here for a week. Despite our number there was no feeling of crowding--the three bedrooms and two baths were quite ample; in fact, the master bedroom was very large and comfortable. Everything at the house was exactly as advertised--even better since there were plenty of sand toys for the toddler to take to the beach and an excellent outdoor shower for us to use afterwards. The hot tub was perfect. And after a busy day of swimming and sightseeing it was a pleasure to go to sleep in a quiet neighborhood. Jenni and Dave provided great communication, checking that everything was going well and leaving us a very helpful book on how to get the most out of the house. We were impressed!

12/2015 - St. Paul, MN - Beautiful family vacation home
We loved everything about this vacation home. It was spacious for our family of seven and it had everything we needed for our week stay. We just had to get our groceries. Every night we enjoyed the lovely outdoors with outdoor seating and hot tub. It was easy to find and close to shopping, beaches, and restaurants. The owners put together a nice book of information to refer too for activities, shopping, restaurants, beaches, things about the house and even the name of a concierge to help with planning excursions. We had everything at our fingertips and it made our trip to Hawaii truly amazing! I would definitely stay there again.

12/2015 - Grafton, NE - Great place to get away.
Our group included 8 adults. There is plenty of room and the hospitality was great. Plenty of furnishings provided for both in home and on the beach. The location is great located in a central location, quiet, but close to activities, walking or driving. Would completely recommend this to anyone! The Richards from the Midwest states

11/2015 - Elk Grove, CA - A great birthday vacation
Our group included 6 six adults. The home was perfect for our family. Upon our arrival the owner texted me to see that everything was as expected. It's apparent the owners put a lot of thought into furnishing this home. The beds are very comfortable, there are plenty of linens for everyone. When we were heading to the beach for sun and fun there were all the accessories we needed. Plenty of snorkel gear, boogie boards, chairs, towels, and coolers. There's even a outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. You name it and they thought of it. In the evening we enjoyed having a place where we could all be together to talk about our day and play a game (not something we could have done if we were in different hotel rooms). The day we left I realized I had left behind a charm my daughter had given me for my birthday. I called the owner and she contacted the housekeeper. My charm was found was sent to me that day. I just can' t say enough how much I appreciated that. This was one of the best vacations our family has had. We would all come back the Kihei Garden Oasis and definitely would recommend this home to anyone coming to Maui.

10/2015 - Novato, CA - Wonderful family vacation home.
We were 6 adults and two toddlers and there was never a moment that any of us would have wanted for more from accommodations. This vacation house is a real home away from home for all that stay here. The home owners have thought about and considered everything that makes a vacation perfect. The house and premises are immaculate and up to date- exactly like the photos. Don't pack a thing other than your clothes and toothbrush- everything else is at the house and it is plentiful. Books, toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, masks, snorkels, ice chests (all sizes and styles), games, cards, beach towels, croquet, strollers, etc.. etc...are all available at the house for use while staying there. Rent a large enough vehicle so you can put all of these goodies in the car and head to the many beaches along the coast. Our 3 year old Grandson is asking to go back to what he called The Lama Lama house. And the day we were all getting packed he cried and said he never wanted to leave. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. Since we had traveled so far and from different regions we tended to eat more at home so we could leisurely visit over dinners. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to stay here. Definitely 5 stars! The Gutierrez Family from California and Guam

10/2015 - Fresno, CA - A Real Island Experience.
Let me start by saying this was not our first trip to the Hawaiian islands but is by far the best. Making the decision to rent a house gave our family so much freedom. We could really relax and fully experience the island. We were traveling as a family with a child so having a space that caters to families made our trip really wonderful. The home is located centrally in Kihei, (key-hey). You'll first notice the home is extremely well kept, inviting and beautiful. The interior follows suit and is tasteful, neat, inviting and high end. The kitchen is full of everything you'll need from salt to a French press. The house stays cool and comfortable with plenty of ceiling fans, big windows, and air conditioning. The linens are soft and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Every room has a big closet with plenty of hangers and dresser drawer space. Each bathroom is stocked with clean towels, a few toiletries, shampoo and conditioner. When we arrived my husband exclaimed "I only needed to bring my clothes!" This was so nice to come into a place so inviting and well thought out! I must add, it felt like heaven to get off the air plane take a short drive to Kihei and take a shower with real shampoo, conditioner and body wash before I had to unpack. Nothing in this house was over looked. The house guide book is full of area and house information. Everything we seemed to need was at our fingertips. My toddler made good use of the toys. The beach gear was great and we enjoyed it several times at local beaches. The hot tub was very clean and ultra relaxing after a day of hiking or swimming. Another favorite area was the patio. The geckos are truly spectacular. We really enjoyed cooking outside on the great BBQ. You can walk to buy fresh fish! The house is close to everything. Right at the end of the street is a farm stand full of local produce, A taco stand making fresh tacos all weekend next to that, and a pizza spot next to that. Just a five minute walk is a grocery store, more yummy restaurants, fish markets, shopping and it goes on and on. Some of the top rated restaurants are a just a short walk from the house. The beach access is right there across from the shops and continues all the way to Wailea. We walked to the beach daily. The park is very clean and nice for children and well kept equipment. There is board-shops to rent a surf/paddle boards across from every beach. So catch a wave! This is the place if you really want to experience LIFE on Maui!

9/2015 - Gilbert, AZ - Maui Wedding
This is a great place to stay if you have a large group or family. We were doing a wedding so couple friends and family stayed with us so we needed a large place than we normally get and this was the perfect fit. The home is very nice and you couldn't ask for any thing else as far as beach gear goes......towels, umbrellas, good chairs, snorkeling gear, boards. The owners have prepared an "Info Book" that we referred to often and was a nice touch. The location is about a block from the beach and numerous shops, food, activities. But I will tell you the best for us was the owner Jenni.......simply put she was more help to us than our own wedding planner. Doing all our planning via the internet and having a wedding planner that simply was a dud......we got most of our helpful info from Jenni, which clearly is not her job as a rental owner, but she was very helpful and helped make things go smooth for us. Thank you rob

8/2015 - San Rafael, CA - Best place to stay for families! Great for little kids.
We can not say enough great things about this beautiful home and the owners. They have thought of everything and this house is not only beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated, it is in a great area and centrally located. We have a 2 year old and we did not need to bring anything. They have strollers, pack n play crib, toys, books and movies. There were even a pack of swim diapers! Sippie cups and little spoons and forks, seriously this place was a blessing. Not to mention all the great games for adults, the hot tub, snorkeling gear and boogie boards, this house has so much to offer and you will not be disappointed. We had a family vacation with grandma and baby and everyone in between and this house exceeded everyone's expectations. You can walk to restaurants, the beach, coffee, bars, dancing and grocery store. Lahaina is 20 minute drive and Wailea in 10 minutes. You can tell how much the owners care about their guest's experience and staying in their home is such a pleasure. Book this place asap as I am sure it goes quickly!

7/2015 - Bodfish, CA - Did not disappoint!

This is a beautiful home and has everything you need. It is perfect for families or friends sharing a vacation. It is walking distance to the beach and some great little shops. We especially enjoyed our morning walk to a great little Coffee House. All the beach/water toys were a great addition and appreciated by the kids. It was also nice to be able to do laundry and have available beach towels, and chairs for our daily outings. A/C in every room. Flat screen TV's in every room. Electronic toys (Wii and X-Box) were a great addition. Had a long day sightseeing, boogie boarding, etc.? Enjoy the hot tub. The owners were on top of everything. Directions were spot on. Pictures of the property were 100% accurate. Patio area very relaxing and we utilized the BBQ several nights. If you need a 4 bedroom 2 bath place then just book this home. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely return here on my next trip to Maui.  Recommended for: Families with Young Children,  Girls Getaway,  Tourists without a Car,  Age 55+,  Families with Teenagers

6/2015 - Seattle, WA - Perfect location with absolutely everything you'll need for an amazing time in Maui
This property is conveniently located in the heart of Kihei with lots of great options for food, drinks, water activities, scooter rentals, you name it. Walk 3-4 blocks down to the main road, there is a place to rent bikes and scooters (and tasty tacos). A couple blocks to the left and you're at the beach, supermarket, restaurants (Kihei Café is must for breakfast), and a place to rent paddle/surf boards. Location matters, and this place has it.

The house itself is large, clean, and looks just like the pictures. Everything looks new. The owners must have put a lot of thought into guest needs because the house seems to have everything we ever needed. Shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards...the list goes on. It was great not to not have to worry about renting or buying any beach gear. The kitchen was fully stocked including sharp knives and very nice cookware.

Bedding was really comfortable and each room had A/C. Super useful that week as it was like 92 degrees. Hot tub with an outdoor warm shower was great way to relax after a long day paddle boarding or in my extended family's case, unwinding after a wedding.  Really, look no further, just book it. 5/2015 - Burnaby, BC, Canada - Amazing space for families

We were ecstatic with our stay in this 4 bedroom house! The owners have put ALOT of thought into what travelers and families need during their stay in Kihei. We made full use of their supplies of towels, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, and high chairs for the kids. Everything was available in the kitchen to cook full meals, bbq, make gourmet coffee, and have a glass of wine. The patio was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day exploring. The pictures of the property are exactly as shown. The visitors guide for surrounding food, sites, beaches, and etc was very useful. We would stay here again the next time we travel to Maui. Thanks for a wonderful stay!  Recommended for: Families with Young Children,  Tourists without a Car,  Age 55+,  Families with Teenagers

5/2015 - Fort Washington, Maryland

This was a wonderful vacation experience for a for me and my family. Jenni was great about answering all of my questions prior to arrival and that made it extremely easy to plan what to bring with us. The house is amazing and CLEAN:) We especially enjoyed sitting out on the patio and using the grill. Everything we needed was in the house already. We were impressed by the time that Jenni took to put the information guide which literally guided us through our vacation. Thanks! The people in the neighbor were extremely nice and treated us as neighbors. I went for a run every morning through the neighborhood and felt very safe. The location is centrally located as promised and it was easy to get around. Also the house is close to the beach so daily beach trips were easy as well. A+ experience.

The space.. it was nice to have the entire house to ourselves and spread out. I also loved that each room had a TV and cable some could escape to privacy if needed.

5/2015 - Oakland, CA - Home away from home!

This house was PERFECT for a relaxing birthday trip! I went to Maui with 5 friends and one of the absolute highlights of our trip was our time in this home. From the hot tub to the board games to the Vitamix, Jenni has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay comfortable. The hosts provided a binder full of info on the house and surrounding neighborhood that made us feel right at home. It's located a few block into a residential area and that was exactly the vibe we wanted. It was peaceful and clean and quiet, but still felt super authentic! We'd walk down to the beach or starbucks (or memphis belle & farmers market) each morning and relax on the comfy couches each night. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness! We enjoyed every minute!

4/2015 - Salem, OR - Nice Home, Great Owner

Nice 4 bedroom house in quite neighborhood. Everything was in good working order and kitchen well equipped. They even supply beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie board, small ice chests! We had inquired if they had a rubber bath mat for shower due to elderly grandmother who is frail...they bought a nice one and had it in the house before we arrived. They have a baby bed (as well as high chair and stroller). We asked if they had a baby blanket for the bed (if not, we would bring). They bought one and had it delivered to the house!. We used the nice patio often (quiet and out of the wind) as well as the hot top and great Webber gas grill. There was even some fresh ripe fruit to be picked in trees! There really was nothing they have not thought of. House is close to various markets for food/fruit, etc.  Recommended for: Age 55+,  Families with Young Children

2/2015 - St. Charles, MN - A true HOME away from HOME

We were in the house 9 nights and could have stayed MUCH LONGER. The house is close enough to everything, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. They have thought of EVERYTHING in the house from beach towels and coolers to cutting boards and tv channel guides. We did download the HomeAway app on our phones and used it quite often for beach and restaurant suggestions. While at the house we did need to contact the owner and heard back immediately so they could address our question. There were 6 adults in the house and it was spacious enough with plenty of towels for everyone so we didn't feel like we were doing laundry all of the time. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend staying at the Kihei Garden Oasis!  Recommended for: Age 55+,  Adventure Seekers,  Girls Getaway,  Sightseeing,  Families with Teenagers,  Families with Young Children,  People with Disabilities,  Romantic Getaway

2/2015 - Alberta, Canada - A True Hawaiian Oasis

Had a wonderful holiday at Kihei Garden Oasis-plenty of room for are family of four adults and three kids. House in a perfect location-close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. House has everything a person needs, especially aloe after sun gel. Loved sitting outside early mornings and evenings to read or chat. The grandkids enjoyed picking the fruit. Don't have enough words to describe this awesome, quiet oasis. Would highly recommend to others and will certainly be going back.  Recommended for: Age 55+,  Sightseeing,  Families with Teenagers,  Families with Young Children

1/2015 - Santa Rosa, CA
Our two families fully enjoyed our stay here. The house was private, very clean, spacious, cozy couches and beds, quality appliances, plenty towels and toys. The host is gracious and available for any needs. Mahalo!

1/2015 - Alberta, Canada - Family-friendly Kihei Jewel

We just returned from our stay at your place and it was wonderful! It was my first time on Maui and our family wanted to stay at a neighbourhood home rather than a hotel or condo. Your home fit our needs perfectly. The binder gave us all the information we needed to take advantage of all that Maui has to offer. The home had everything we needed when relaxing after a fun day of activities. It was obvious that you put a lot of thought into equipping the house. From the beach toys and towels to the games, books and DVDs, and the well-equipped kitchen and lanai, we never felt there was anything lacking. The binder particularly was filled with useful information about the house and your beautiful island. We'll be back if ever again we're lucky enough to make it to Maui. Many thanks.

12/2014 - Kailua-Kona, HI - A model home for all Hawaii vacation rentals

The Kihei Garden Oasis is not only a lovely home in a neighborhood close to great beaches, yummy food, and stores but also a well-appointed vacation rental. The big things, such as enough bedrooms (for a group of 8) and a private outdoor area, were key factors in our choice of a house. Coming with our four children from the Big Island, we were also attracted to the easiness of this rental. Beach gear (including but not limited to boogie boards, beach towels, coolers, beach toys, goggles, snorkel gear, and a variety of bags), board games for all ages, toys for children, and a binder of information about the local area are all provided. The outdoor shower and hose are excellent for rinsing off beach slippers/sandals and beach gear. Everything was so organized, and it made our trip much simpler. What really surprised us were the little things, such as big containers of shampoo and conditioner in the showers, toilet paper (several rolls), a new roll of paper towels, a new kitchen dish sponge, spices, sugar, condiments, tea, coffee, coffee filters, floss, and even peroxide & cotton balls (which came in handy for boo-boos). It gave us a "pay it forward" kind of feeling, so we left behind tear-free shampoo and conditioner and kid toothpaste for future renters. There was clearly much thought and consideration put into preparing this vacation home, and we truly appreciated it. The Kihei Garden Oasis should serve as a model for other Hawaii vacation rentals.

12/2014 - Seattle, WA - A rental house that became a home for our family

We had a great family vacation on Maui. The house was perfect. We had 6 adults and 3 toddlers. The house was the right size for our extended family and the house was well supplied with everything you can think of for vacation. From a TV in each room to a nice big screen in the living room, they had something for everyone. Movies, books for adults and children, toys for the kids, beach gear.... It's hard to name something they didn't think of. The back patio was a great extended living area with comfortable seating, a patio umbrella and a hot tub. The house was close enough to walk to the beach and park as well as many restaurants and a grocery store. We had three toddlers under 3 so the high chair and stroller were a nice plus. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and plenty of dishes and silverware. Of course with 9 people, we still had to run the dishwasher about once a day. We really enjoyed our stay and the house had a lot to do with it.  Recommended for: Age 55+,  Sightseeing,  Families with Teenagers,  Families with Young Children

11/2014 - Alberta, Canada - Home away from home!

My brother said it best: "this is the best vacation I've ever been on!" Maui is a wonderful island - it has something for everyone, which is what our family of 6 adults & 2 babies needed. But what really made our vacation was feeling like we came home each day. Kihei Garden Oasis was an exquisite home - it is as lovely as the photos on their website. And just as the owners state - it has everything you need. The owners truly live the Aloha spirit; they will help you with anything. They have even taken the time to compile a binder full of quality information about the island. We had such a wonderful stay because of the comforts of their home, the travel advice & in general the Aloha spirit of Maui.

10/2014 - Kirkland, WA - They thought of everything

We had a wonderful stay at Kihei Garden Oasis on our trip with 3 couples. The house is beautiful with lovely, modern furnishings and decorations. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the garage is like a mini beach store with anything you'd need to really enjoy the island. We loved sitting outside on the patio either with coffee or drinks in the morning and evenings. It really was our own private oasis to retire to after a full day of enjoying the island. And what's better to do than jump in a new hot tub after running around all day. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Very convenient, can walk to great restaurants, HH's, the beach in just 5 mins. Great place and would recommend to others.

10/2014 - Redmond, WA - Wonderful Gem in Kihei!

Kihei Garden Oasis is truly that. It is a very well appointed house which is private and inviting. Everything has been beautifully and thoughtfully done from the indoor and outdoor spaces, to all of the amenities provided within. This feels like staying in a lovely home, not just a vacation rental. The house is in a great location with just a short walk to everything, beaches, parks, coffee and some wonderful restaurants, make sure to try Three's! If you want to eat in, there is farmers market at the end of the street and the house garden provides fresh limes, papaya and passion fruit (in season) that you can just walk out the door and pick! The owner has thoughtfully provided everything you could want for indoor and outdoor activities including top of the line cookware and a grill, games, boogie boards, snorkel and masks! Every time I needed something I turned around and it was there. I will definitely be coming back to this garden oasis!

10/2014 - Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada - Kihei Gardens was delightful!
We were very impressed with not only the beautifully appointed and well equipped property on our recent visit to Maui, but also the willingness of the owners to meet our needs and respond to questions quickly. We cannot say thank you enough! The home is so comfortable and plenty of space for six adults and easily could accommodate eight. The location is close to everything you need. Would love to return! Would be great for families as well! Felt like home!

9/2014 - Maple Ridge, BC - The Maui Garden Oasis lives up to its name

We spent two weeks at the Maui Garden Oasis with five adults and two children and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The photos on the website are accurate and I feel they don’t do it justice, the house is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, spices, and a great coffee grinder. The garage is filled with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, games, coolers, towels, snorkels, masks, everything you need for a day at the beach. This house was one of the few that we looked at which had a nice big dining room table for a large group, but we spent almost all of our time in the beautiful backyard, where there is plenty of comfortable seating, a picnic table, hot tub, outdoor shower, fruit trees, a fantastic BBQ, and plenty of shade. The bedrooms had either King or Queen beds that were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available. Each room had air conditioning that made the warm evenings that much more comfortable. There were TV’s everywhere but we rarely turned them on. There is fast wifi, which, made uploading snorkeling videos to Facebook easy. One thing that sticks out for me is the strong water pressure, which, is essential for blasting a days' worth of sand and sunscreen off. Any minor problems we had were met with a very quick response and action. The house is located walking distance to the main road, shopping, playground and restaurants and a short drive to some amazing beaches. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. My concern with vacationing with seven people, even though they were family, was that we’d be on top of each other. That was not the case at the Maui Garden Oasis, the home was big enough and with the large outdoor living area we never felt cramped. If we travel to Maui with a group again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

7/2014 - Sacramento, CA - It really was an oasis!

Our Kihea Garden Oasis stay was lovely. The house is beautifully appointed, the rooms are spacious and the outdoor sitting area perfect for sunning or reading a book in the shade. All of our beach needs were met: umbrellas, beach chairs, thick beach towels, goggles, snorkels, fins, cooler, even a spare hat or two! Close to some of Maui's best beaches where we saw lots of fish and turtles. Fun and funky open market for souvenirs and henna tattoos nearby. Convenient grocery options. 10 minutes from higher end shopping and restaurants in Wailea. Location worked perfectly for our family of six, including gramma and teenagers. Owners were nice enough to check in on us with concern about Hurricane Iselle. Luckily everything was just fine and our Aloha spirit was not disrupted!

7/2014 - Albuquerque, NM - Beautiful, hidden gem!

Our extended family of 8 was thrilled to have found this beautiful little gem. The house was in a nice, quiet, residential neighborhood only minutes from shopping and activities. Very tastefully decorated, lovely Hawaiian theme but without being over the top! Attention to detail in every room! The kids enjoyed playing games in the cool living room after long days at the beach, while the adults enjoyed the fantastic patio and hot tub. We can't wait to come back to Maui, and will absolutely want to rent this beautiful home again!

7/2014 - Fremont, CA - A True Garden Oasis

What a gem of place! It's a rare find when a vacation rental looks exactly like its online photos, but this is definitely the case with Kihei Garden Oasis! The house is truly beautiful, and it's clear that the owners (Dave and Jenni) have put a lot of love and care in the design and decorating of the home. It's warm and inviting, with top of the line furnishings and appliances. Truly lovely property in person. The grassy front yard is very private and perfect for an outdoor yoga session, or to send the kids foraging for ripe passion fruit. Yes! there are passion fruit in the front yard. They were amazingly delicious! The house is in a perfect location. Definitely within walking distance to local shopping and restaurants. The owners emailed a Maui guide (nice touch btw) which included local recommendations. One of their recommendations was Ululani's Shave Ice. The shave ice here is life transforming :)...Service is super friendly and just a great vibe. Not included in Jenni and April's guide is a great local spot - Maui Thai Bistro. The food was sooo tasty (warning...they mean spicy). We ordered out so can't speak to the ambiance. Oh, and can't forget the the beaches. In a word - Spectacular! We visited a different beach each day, and each one was more picturesque than the next so it's impossible to pick a fave. However one of the standouts was Keawakapu - for a low key, calm surf swimming beach day! We're already planning a trip back to Maui and will definitely return to Kihei Garden Oasis!

6/2014 - Surprise, AZ - awesome vacation home

Truly an oasis! This beautiful home is so ready for anything. There was absolutely NOTHING lacking for any age guest. Fully stocked for fun... snorkle gear, boogy boards, beach chairs etc. There are shelves full of board games, x box and Wii and a drawer full of video games. Books,DVDs, fully stocked kitchen . Fresh passion fruit everyday was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and farmers market. This was our family's best vacation ever. Can't wait to return!

6/2014 -Las Vegas, NV - One of the best vacation homes ever!

The was one of the best homes for my family and I. It was clean, beautiful, and large enough so that each family member could have their own space, or connect together in the wonderful living room or outdoor patio area. Additionally, the close proximity to restaurants, shopping, the park and ocean made it a spectacular location. The home had everything we needed, like kitchen utensils, towels, beach items, and much more.

5/2014 - Portland, OR - My first trip to Maui and I'll be back!

This was my first trip to Maui and my first vacation in a few years. I must say, staying in a rental house is far better then a busy hotel. There are 4 bedrooms so we had plenty of room and by dividing up the cost it was pretty inexpensive for what was a great vacation home. The house is located in a residential neighborhood a short walk from town and beaches. There is a very private backyard with a hot tub and barbecue which we used frequently. Maui can be expensive and there are some great restaurants that we enjoyed but we had some great meals at the house by shopping for local fish, vegetables and fruit. The house itself was great. The owners did a great job creating a very comfortable home. It's an easy walk to town for meals, shopping or beach activities. Some of the highlights: paddle boarding with sea turtles (an easy activity even for beginners like us), there is a huge open park with everything from tennis courts, basketball, baseball, skate park, volley ball, etc.. Just a short drive south and there is an amazing snorkel beach which felt like swimming in a tropical aquarium, truly a wonderful experience. The house has masks and some fins but if you need more there are places in town to rent this gear. Plan a full day for the Hana Highway and leave early to beat the crowd. It's a slow and curvy drive but worth the views. If you're up for an extra early morning head up to Haleakala for sunrise but plan on at least a 2 hour drive in the dark to get there and dress for cold. We made it just in time and it was stunning. We stopped on the way down for breakfast and were back in Kihei by 10. The town of Lahaina is about 30 minutes north, very touristy but a really fun place to shop and eat. Makena and big beach are an easy drive south, we left around 7am and literally had the entire beach to ourselves. I brought my GPS from home and it worked great to find our way around. I'm already planning a return next year, hoping my friends and their kids can join us.
